There are many different facets of our lives. And with the encroaching end of the year it’s out with the old and in with new. But have you really taken the time to evaluate the parts of your life that no longer serve you?
This is a vast question. You could start by looking at your daily habits. Are your eating habits, your drinking habits, your sleeping habits creating the best quality of life that you could ask for? And if the answer is no then now is the time to make a plan for change.
Because you deserve the best don’t you?
Next we evaluate the many people within our lives. Does this person bring you joy or anger? Are they giving back to you or are you constantly the giver? Only you know the answers to these questions and only you can make the change that will change your life. This doesn’t have to be cutting this person out of your life completely. But as the saying goes some friends are good for an hour, some friends are good for a week, some friends are good for season, and some friends are there for lifetime. By controlling the amount of time you spend with the people that uplift or tear you down, you can add a greater quality of life within this simple change. The first step of course
is to create more friendships that add to your greater good?
Finally what is your attitude adding to your life? Are you the constant optimist who it’s truly just hiding the pain you feel inside? Or are you always the victim playing your cards and not taking responsibility for anything that happens in your life, it’s always someone else’s fault. Or maybe you try to find control within all situations, and when you don’t feel that you are in control you freak out a little. All of these qualities are choices. Choices on how you choose to react to various situations and people with in your life.
